Exploring Zakynthos from the water, discovering beaches and caves all in a private boat with an experienced Captain.

Galaxy Boat Tours was founded by two friends, Sakis and Andreas, with a shared passion for the sea and the beauty of Zakynthos.

Andreas grew up in the north of Zakynthos in the village of Anafonitria, just 10 minutes from Porto Vromi and from the famous shipwreck. For years, he has worked at Galaxy Restaurant in Anafonitria, his family restaurant (3 generations work there together today!), and captaining boats to the famous Shipwreck Beach and blue caves.

Sakis, originally from Patras, fell in love with Zakynthos after visiting on holiday many years ago. He returned home only to sell his business, pack up his life, and move to the island permanently. An experienced and respected guide who grew up captaining boats.

Together, they created Galaxy Boat Tours to offer something more personal to the guests who come here. Small, private experiences that show the true beauty of Zakynthos, away from the crowds.

Private Boat Tours with Captain

Enjoy a private experience exploring the North West coast of Zakynthos at your own pace. We offer flexible times, durations, and routes. Our captains can help you get the most out of your time, ensure your safety, and help you make perfect memories. Want to extend your time for more swimming time or to explore more of the West Coast? No problem, just book as much time as you would like on board, and we will work with you to plan the route.

Boat Rentals – Self Drive

Want to be your own captain? No licence or experience needed! We will provide training for you before you set off and explain everything you need to know to make sure that you can explore at your leisure while remaining confident and safe.

Explore Zakynthos By Boat

Shipwreck and Blue Caves Tour

Sailing from Porto Vromi, our experienced captains will take you on an incredible journey along the northwest coast of Zakynthos. You will have time to take amazing photos from the boat in the bay of the famous shipwreck, explore the magical blue caves, and swim in the stunning blue waters around our coastline. Our captains are fully licensed and insured. We provide cold water on board and a safe place for you to put your things.

We can take groups from 1 to 9 people.

Minimum tour length: 2 hours.

Want to see more? No problem! There is so much more to see and experience along the stunning west coast. Add more time to your tour booking and decide with your captain where you will explore.

Self-Drive Boat Rental

Rent a boat and be your own captain! No licence is required to operate our small boats. They are fully maintained, fully insured, and appropriate training will be provided. We will help you plan your route, give you hints and tips, and make sure you feel comfortable before you set sail to explore on your own with your group.

The maximum group size for this experience is 5 people.
